State Electric can implement programs that can assist our customers in analyzing and implementing cost saving opportunities. These programs can help realize savings from many different areas, such as: transaction cost, inventory cost, energy savings, reduce labor and installation, longer life products, safety, and increased productivity to name a few. Below, we have listed some of these resources and programs.

  • State Electric has experienced Electrical Engineers on staff. With backgrounds in fiber optics, motor control, drives and automation.
  • Lighting Energy Audits, Designs, and Layouts – Walk thru facilities to evaluate lighting systems, power quality, and electrical equipment. Provide documentation and recommendations for cost saving upgrades and/or replacement of existing systems and equipment.
  • Job Staging and Kitting – Helping customers coordinate material flow on projects which may require staggered and/or separated deliveries, or multiple delivery points.
  • Data/Com division – Complete data and communication division able to support your requirements.
  • Password protected, secure on-line e-Sales Center internet offering and can be utilized by purchasing representative(s) for direct account access in placing orders, looking at current on hand inventory, and up to date account information (balance, past, present and future invoices).
  • Coordination of in-house or on-site customer training and safety seminars – We will coordinate training that fits our customers' needs.
  • Storeroom supply surveys – Analysis of existing inventory and processes to help reduce inventory and redundant procedures.
  • On-site or job-site inventory management.
  • Value Engineering / Material Interchange – An item of equal or greater quality and / or functionality, which meets the full specifications of our customers and may generate cost savings.
  • Vendor Managed Inventory – On-site or local storeroom facility management and maintenance of agreed upon inventory levels, per the requirements of our customers.
  • JIT Inventory Management – Inventory needed for a specific project that resides in our supporting facilities to be released “Just-In-Time”. Thereby reducing the need for storage space within our customers' facilities or at the jobsite where security may be an issue.
  • MRO vending machine management.
  • Longer Life Product – An item and / or component is offered which provides a longer life cycle than an existing item, while ensuring all specifications are met.
  • Switchgear and lighting design assistance, when design-build/value engineered projects are desired.
  • Material, job, and project labeling – Project specific and / or delivery point specific identification for ease of material management.
